i do not see any uniformity. in any public sector bank HR policy is based on the agreements. in private banks it is left to the management

As far as my knowledge goes, HR practices in Public Sector Banks are quite procedure-driven. They usually have a defined process for various HR activities. Many a times, there's a lot of paper-work and record-keeping involved.

being in a service industry,banking HR practice shoild b more employee oriented.more focus sd b on training & development.
