Yes, the managment has to earn from you atleast 75% of what they pay in the form of your contribution. You can get trained only 25% by the company, therefore work exp is absolutely important

I would say Yes.. primarily for two reasons.. firstly you should know whtat you are studying in MBA and how you are going to apply it... and secondly its always better to work for an year or two then go for masters in my personal opinion as it certainly helps u gain more at a professional level.

It doesnt really matter...coz once you start working usually u loose the tempo of studying n to come back again and prepare for studies is a bit difficult...

As it always has been, the topic is highly debateable! Yeah, the work-ex is not sth that u cant do without (except the cases where colleges make it mandatory).. but having a work ex is better as it helps u relate few concepts learnt in classroom(or discussions held therein) quite well to what u have seen/faced/experienced in ur work life! Helps u make a better manager of urself.. u will experience everything once u r on the job, but havin a work ex before joining mba makes u better prepared for wts coming up!
Ultimately, its an individual's his/her own preferences.

I strongly support the fact that Work Ex is necessary in few cases. I don't mean experience is necessary to relate things with whats happening in practical scenario. Instead it helps the way you approach your studies. I have seen freshers wanting to only study from the books, whereas MBA is not about only mugging from your books.
