Well da thing i was talkin abt was at the end of da conversations where you are summing up the details of what is put forward u you can also put in ur views on what significantly would the evaluator be looking for in that topic.. Secondly big fight thread is made for discussions so u can just open a topic of ur liking and we could get more inputs from mp visitors.. It wont be an actual GD but we can get lots of view points.. which obviously helps people in the long run... !! :)

Hi bhavin,
I am not the moderator.... i am like another participant... and so, cant really give a personal feedback to the extent u said.... This is precisely why we need moderators who could mod during our GD sessions....

Sure, will do that... but at the same time, it has been my experience, that a real time GD is more beneficial... :)

Dont worry gaurav we will try to work that out nd provide moderation to prevailing and upcoming gd's.

Yup agree to u.. but the trend i have seen in the gd's u have posted is there arent much major pts which have to be touched upon being talked about.. So BIG FIGHT would be available for 3-4 days atleast so people can bring as many points as possible.. It would be more of a gyaan session than an actual gd but believe this gyaan will help u more on the long run as u will have more pts to talk about and as we are near to the next PI dates of entrance exmz the whole focus will shift in2 online gd's... :horn:

Hi folks!!

I would be conducting the ONLINE GD on week days during the absence of Nikhil and posting the GD proceedings for which Mr. Kartick and Bhavin would give the feedback here.......

p.s. Kartick... please take care of the following while giving feedback...
1) tell us all the points which were skipped in the discussion and should have been mentioned by us.

2) How the individual participants fared.... where they went haywired..... what points were good.... what were not.... and who all would clear this session had it been ab actual GD

Okay.. Bhavin is out on a vacation and I doubt if he would be replying .

Let me get started...

Overall a confused GD ..

Let me try to give how I would perceive the topic as :

There are too many People and too few human beings.

The topic implies that people in todays world are lurking for material wealth. The joy that they get is from T.V and Video Games and Hi-tech gadgets and not from fellow human contact.

Everyone is on the run for money and power by hook or by crook. If it renders the other jobless or if it kills someone , that is not their concern.

There is an example of Nestle, when it started using breast milk to make milk powder and promoted it. The people working in the organisation are not concerned with the ill effect, neither is the company.. they want money..

Now , Humanity on the other hand does not mean being mother teresa or giving charity. There were points raised like, John Abrahim gives 70 % of his earning.

Your earnings are your efforts fruits. You need not part with it. Parting with your money does not make you a human being. Giving alms to a begger does not make you a human being. Its the beggars karma to own his money .

So then what do we mean by human beings. Human beings would mean people who are satisfied with their lives and with what they want. They are not greedy. They are not materialistic. They do not enjoy seeing others suffer. They are helpful . They are passionate. They feel for someones suffering .

The topic there are many people but very few human absolutely holds true in todays world because most of us are now ' MECHANIC ' . We work like machines. We get up, we work , we get material wealth, and power to yell at others and that makes us happy.
A Human being is the one who takes time to appreciate the world, he is not mechanic. He may not be able to help a person monetarily but his few compasionate words make the distressed feel good.

Most of the Gd Takers confused humans with heros or people who have embossed their name in history with golden words, which is clearly not the case.

========================================================
Now that we are clear on that ..

Gd Taker ie. gavrau has raised very less points, His comments were repetitive and focused on " Karma " of a human being.

( Ravans Karma was to do what he did and same for Rams karma.. Karma is not positive or negative. The outcome is . Hence I am not able to relate it with this topic )

Mital Shah : Did a good thing of opening the GD, but couldnt sustain it. Commented only thrice in the whole GD .

bang_nidhi : Actually opened the GD. Had a balanced view point. Has Potential.

mba_nid_sha: She would clear the GD if it was only uptil her this statement

1 helping hand is enough to help a lot of people so obviously we do not need as many good ppl as the ppl in need are

Later on she just lost focus.

surendravarma_u : Too less points. But whatever he said was upto the mark. Had it going if wouldve interacted more.

amit lahoti : Needs Practice.

Moni : Started well.. But got into things like family which were not necessary.

goyalsahil : Has potential. Needs Direction.

Kartik Raita : With his Theory of Self Actualisation, he makes a certain impact . His other points are repetitive but he gets the GD going.

If this was actual GD, I would consider Kartik Raita and Bang Nidhi .

A really nice subject - If elephants could fly ...

Once again the gd started humpty dumpty. People were quite confused as to how to interpret the topic.

" If elephants could fly " - the topic insists on discussing on the most bizzare fictions possible.

The gd was opened well by anoop . The points he raised show his inert managerial abilities. The points he raised are well put forth carrying the GD forward.

Kartik Raithatha again scores well putting forth things like employment and new business line etc.

Vyankatesh has undergone a lot of improvement and a little more practice of GD's might secure him a seat in a good bschool. He was the one who made the hidden meaning of the topic obvious.

Our very own gaurav ( GD taker ) gave very few points neverthless interesting one's. More inputs from him would have given him an edge.

Koolboy mumbai needs to take into consideration others views before jumping into strong comments like " I disagree ".

iyer subramoney is another person who has performed well.. His comments like
iyer subramoney: for dung rains u can stop aftr a particulr time to allow tem to refresh
show his presence of mind and sense of humour. Wouldve sailed thru if had some more strong arguments instead of repeting and confirming points already made by others.

Anoop singh steals the GD ...

Anoop singh and kartik raithatha sail thru this GD .
