GMAT official guide


There is no substitute for official GMAT questions. All TestMagic students who have scored over 700 on their GMAT (currently averaging approximately 90% of all on-site students) have gone through the Official Guide (affectionately known as the "OG") two, three, four, even five times. This book is the bible of GMAT preparation.

Many people ask TestMagic why the OG is so important. They often want to save a few bucks and get by with the used books their friends have given them, or rely on the materials Kaplan or Princeton Review sell or offer in their courses. Not a wise decision.

The questions in the practice books are just not the same. Many of the practice books have mistakes and address topics that are not really related to what you will see on the GMAT. And some of the very well known books will actually lower score, if you follow what they say.

Furthermore, many of the practice books you can buy have lots of typos, some of the answers are transposed or just plain wrong. "Underground" GMAT materials are loaded with typos, typically at least two per page.

However, official GMAT questions are not like that--you will almost never be able to find fault with them (check out the TestMagic GMAT Forum

I assume that the problem is with the way you're accessing the files.

Please download all the files in a single folder.

Next, right click on the FIRST file (it should be like part01.rar or something) and go in the WINRAR menu and select extract all.

It will extract the complete Kaplan in the folder. If there is any trouble, feel free to contact me.
