●Answer to Q1: C
This question is asking the idiom of the verb ‘prohibit’, which is followed by ‘an object + gerund’ or ‘a noun or gerund’. So, both ‘to recover’ in A and ‘the recovery of’ in D should be changed into ‘recovering’. In addition, the pronoun ‘they’ in A is wrong because it is used to refer to ‘a victim’. And also the expressions in B and E can’t be placed next to the verb ‘prohibit’ in terms of the idiom. Therefore, the answer is C.

●Answer to Q2: A
The statement assumes that small businesses have a certain amount of money to meet governmental requirements. Based on this assumption, it is saying that large companies, which do everything on a more massive scale, will have more serious hardships because they should spend more money to meet governmental requirements. So, if an answer choice mentions that small businesses don’t have the capital reserves to meet the same governmental requirements, it is the right one that attacks directly the given assumption. That is the answer choice of A.

●Answer to Q3: E
In original condition, Because the number of variables is 3, the possible answer is E, 1) & 2) p=3, q=4,r=5/ p=4, q=5, r=6 NOT unique, NOT sufficient, therefore the best answer is E.

●Answer to Q4: D
Let english:E, history:H, math:M, then E=2H, E=3M, H=E/2, M=E/3, ratio H to M=H:M=E/2:E/3=3:2, therefore the best answer is D
