Dear Terrorist,
We dont care if you are not reading this. We really dont. You have tried an incredible number of times to disrupt and disturb our normal course of life by killing innocent people, trying to destroy the property by planting bombs in trains and buses which causes panic and distress among us, but everytime you have been awefully unsuccesful in doing so. What do you know about life in Mumbai? Have you ever noticed how much we give to earn that single ruppee? Do you by any chance know the struggle and hard work that goes
behind living here? We bet you dont.
Before doing anything just look at us. We are not Marathi's and Gujratis, and Muslims and Parsis, and Bengalis..... We are Mumbai-kars. No one, forget people like you, not even GOD and the natural disasters (26/7) can dampen our spirits. We are sorry, but if you have tried to give us a shock, you have failed miserably.
Just digest this - within 3 hours of the blasts long queues of blood donating volunteers were seen outside the various government hospitals where the injured were admitted. Shopowners and Cafeowners came ahead and supplied everyone with water and snacks free of cost without worrying about the profit that they could have made. The survivors from the train instantly came foward and helped the injured. This is our spirit. This is our attitude.
We are now living our normal life. Schools/Colleges are up and runinng. Trains and Buses are seen with the usual rush. Mumbai is back on track. So if you ever feel that you have shaken us up, think again. Look at us again and you will realise. We live in the present, not fearing the future !!!!! SALAAM MUMBAI !!!!!
Thanks and warm regards.
From the people of MUMBAI.
