Should I continue MBA even though it's not my passion? - October 27th, 2017

I am struggling whether to pursue MBA or not. My parents are the ones who influenced me to pursue further studies on MBA but I'm not sure if that's what I really want. I am currently feeling depressed and suffocated since I don't feel that I can have any freedom at all. Any advice?

Why don't you talk to them about how you feel? Should remain open with them about things like this. If you are not comfortable talking to them then try talking to your siblings. Never keep it to yourself.

I am afraid that if I would talk to my parents, they won't understand me. My friends keep on telling me that I should follow my dreams but at the same time, I don't want to be a disappointment to my parents. I am currently in a client centered therapy to help me determine the feasible plan of action for my further studies. My therapist also helps me to manage the pressure. Hopefully, I'll be able to get a resolution from all this.
