Well in the UK there's schools kind of like that, but boys only school. Like Eton (possibly one of the best school in the world).
It goes on whether you notice it or not usually class division; working class will go to working class school's (the worst ones) and will usually come out of it getting a working class job. Middle and upper class, however, will end up going to 'better' schools and come out getting the best chances for higher education and jobs. It's restricted usually by 'catchment areas' and it's not just that those schools are better, they just have better resources and get funded better when the results come in and they end up having the highest results in the 'league tables'. You could have the best teacher in the world when it comes to a working class school, but when they lack resources it's very hard.
