Friends,
You must've noticed that SMS is not as common a usage in rural india compared to cities and they still prefer plain voice talk. Now with the advent of 3G and its infra, if cityfolks r gonna migrate from SMSing to 3G comm., are the rural janta gonna get used to SMSing over a period of time..
Or is that simply a matter of literacy and awareness?

I think its a matter of literacy and awareness. If you do not know how to read and write, what use is the SMS service to the rural people?

In rural areas almost all the people are uneducated and can not understand sms. Even they do not know how to delete and save them. They will definitely prefer to talk instead of using sms and 3g facility. They can purchase the smart phones but they still do not know how to operate them properly.
