Three Year Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP - Management) - MBA Level Programme

Programme Objectives:


* To critically appraise a range of relevant theoretical business management concepts.
* To demonstrate proficiency in analysing and interpreting a wide range of business information related to the various functional areas of management.
* To develop and demonstrate key personal and inter-personal skills required for effective management and implementation of solutions to business problems at all levels within and outside the organisation.

Eligibility

Graduate in any discipline. Admission test is required. Exemptions from admission test as per the policy of IMT - CDL as mentioned in the prospectus.

Programme Structure

The Programme has a modular structure ensuring continuity and flexibility. It consists of six modules. The completion of all the six modules leads to the Three Year Post Graduate Programme in Management. The first four modules taken together consist of 24 core (foundation) papers. Fifth and sixth modules provide deeper study in management and consist of 2 core papers. A student is required to seek specialisation in one major and one minor area in the final year, i.e., in fifth and sixth semesters by selecting 2 major and one minor papers in each semester. However, the student may seek dual specialisation by selecting three subjects from each field. Besides the course work, during the final semester students have to submit a dissertation related to their major specialisation. The programme offers specialisations in the areas of Finance, Marketing, Systems, Operations, Human Resource Management and International Business.

Two Year Advanced Post-Graduate Diploma in Management

Programme Structure

The Programme has a modular structure ensuring continuity and flexibility. It consists of four modules. The completion of all four modules leads to the award of Two Year Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Management. The first two modules taken together consist of eight core papers. Third and Fourth modules consist of three more core papers and four electives along with one project in the area of specialisation in the fourth module.
