Naukri is an exclusive Indian careers website on the internet. It is a forum where employers, placement agencies and job seekers can exchange information, quickly, effectively and inexpensively. At Naukri, one can advertise for a job, search for a job, browse through resumes, place a resume, place a home page, visit employers' home pages and visit other Indian and International career sites. It is a one-stop information-clearing house about jobs and careers for Indians.
The Naukri.com Vision is to create a platform where, in 20 years time, every Indian who is looking for a job can find one.
The Company had recently launched a print version of the recruitment folio. The Naukri magazine had been launched a month back and a post launch study was to be carried out in order to understand the customer and trade reaction to the magazine.
I started the research by designing questionnaires. My task was to approach retailers viz, the book stalls, book stores, customers visiting these stores and subscribers for their feedback. The idea was to understand the response to the launch, assess the demand for the magazine, expectations of readers as well as trade expectations.
The geographic area was Mumbai to start with. After conducting the research, I analysed the data with the help of SPSS software. |
