ETV Network, bouquet of 12 regional channels is source of rich infotainment to audiences in the language of their choice: ETV Telugu, ETV2, ETV Bangla, ETV Marathi, ETV Kannada, ETV Oriya, ETV Gujarati, ETV Urdu, ETV Uttar Pradesh, ETV Rajasthan, ETV Bihar and ETV Madhya Pradesh. ETV-Network channels have been popular because the quality entertainment is provided to viewers in the language of their choice depicting the culture with which they are able to connect.

It is this spirit of empathy with individual cultures/languages that has helped ETV to reach millions of viewers. With the same spirit ETV provides digital entertainment to Indians living in U.S.A. with ETV Telugu and ETV Bangla entertainment channels.

When E TV was started:-

ETV Network is one of the largest networks of satellite television channels in India and is owned by the media baron Ramoji Rao. Based at Hyderabad, this network runs a group of 12 regional language news and entertainment channels.

When the satellite TV revolution broke out in India during the late 1990s

The Marathi language television industry was started in India in 1984. Although earlier confined to a half an hour slot in the national television Doordarshan, the industry has now expanded with many commercial TV channels currently on air.

Various dedicated categories like news and movies have been added and have considerably expanded the horizon of Marathi TV entertainment.


ETV Marathi started in 2000 from Hyderabad based Mr. Ramoji Rao & his Entertainment Media group.
