Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NYSE: AMD) or AMD is an American multinational semiconductor company based in Sunnyvale, California, that develops computer processors and related technologies for commercial and consumer markets. Its main products include microprocessors, motherboard chipsets, embedded processors and graphics processors for servers, workstations and personal computers, and embedded systems applications.
AMD is the second-largest global supplier of microprocessors based on the x86 architecture and also one of the largest suppliers of graphics processing units. It also owns 8.6% of Spansion, a supplier of non-volatile flash memory.[2] In 2009, AMD ranked 9th among semiconductor manufacturers in terms of revenue.

AMD Quality Assurance Plans

As with CEMS code, the 2006 Amendments to the Air Monitoring Directive, 1989 (AMD 2006) require a Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) be created and adhered to for all Air Monitoring operations. Subsequent auditing ensures that the plan is being followed and the system is working within required guidelines.

GASL develops a variety of Quality Assurance Planning for Air Monitoring Directives:

Quality Assurance Plans
GASL creates customized, easy to read QAP's based on each client's specific requirements and equipment. By providing only site relevant information in understandable language, strict adherence to the document is possible and the risk of falling out of spec because of misunderstood instructions is mitigated.

Routine Maintenance Plans
From the AMD QAP, Routine Maintenance Plans can be developed to assist site maintenance technicians and outside contractors in providing uniform and necessary preventative maintenance operations.

Quality Assurance Plan Updates
In certain situations QAP documentation requires updating, GASL can review and provide the necessary changes. Some of the situations that may require QAP updates include:

incomplete QAPs for any reason (such as plant changes)
QAPs that are outdated or are ineffective
QAPs that have failed an audi
Updates for plant license changes/updates
Updates for specification or regulation amendments
GASL can also assist in creation of guidelines for the following:

Document control
Spare parts inventory
Methods and procedures
Calibration and QC checks
Maintenance schedule
Corrective action programs
