It gives us immense pleasure to invite you to *Lock, Stock & Trade (LST)
2008 - The annual entrepreneurship event of SPJIMR!*
LST is an event that combines the excitement of the bullring with the rigor
of business analysis. As an entrepreneurship promotion event it brings on
stage teams of first generation entrepreneurs and student business analysts
(including international participants) who make a pitch in the Mock IPO
game. The invited gathering consists of venture capitalists, entrepreneurs,
faculty, various B-school participants and investors.
Started in 2004 in collaboration with National Entrepreneurship Foundation
(NEN), Lock, Stock & Trade (LST) is a one of its kind simulated IPO game
which aims to inspire the younger generation towards entrepreneurship.
After 4 immensely successful years with eminent entrepreneurs such as Ms.
Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Mr. Subroto Bagchi & Mr. Chetan Maini, Captain G. R.
Gopinath, we are indeed proud to have, *Mr. Ajit Balakrishnan, CEO,
Rediff.com* as the keynote speaker for LST 2008.
Further, we shall also have an intellectual panel discussion with Venture
Capitalists, Entrepreneurs & Corporate guests on-board on the topic *"An
Idea to IPO".*
The game provides an amazing opportunity for investors to bid & trade for
the various real businesses to build their portfolio which leads to a real
time experience of the Dalal Street excitement! The '*Highest Net Worth
Investor'* goes on to win *Rs. 10,000.*
