With the birth of BMS in NagindasKhandwalaCollege, we started the phenomenal festival MIRAGE- EMPOWER, ENERGIZE, ENLIVEN which the very able students of the college were turning into reality. Starting like a toddler with the crowd of hardly 90 in the year 2000 this phenomenal festival –MIRAGE today is entertaining a crowd of more than 6000. Its success story is interesting enough to make everyone wonder as how a tiny group of 90 can handle an event at such a huge scale though today 360 students are managing it. Success always smiled at us every year when we kicked of this festival of fun, thrill and excitement. The co-ordinator of N.K.BMS Mrs. Mona Bhatia and Principal Mrs. Ancy. Jose always helped and encouraged the students in the journey of the thrilling festival Mirage. With all their guidance and support, Mirage is a big success today. In the year 2000, Mirage took place twice due to overwhelming response. With the help of all the professors and the hardworking students today, Mirage has come a long way. The festival of MIRAGE is exclusively meant for the management students across Mumbai. The festival of Mirage started with Academics andCulturals but now Mirage is exemplified with various other events like the Mirage Minds, Mirage Sports, Mirage Fine arts and including Mirage Culturals too. With each year we moved a step forward .Even Sports was started with Cricket at the college ground but again with all the support from participants the events of sports increased and shifted to a new venue –Goregaon sports Club. This shows how Mirage has grown. Mirage has indefinitely been an event of alluring activities, painstaking hours to make the day it has to be remembered for .The festival Mirage is very well known for its brochures and the creativity hidden in it. The shapes of the Brochures are the USP of the festival as they are a reflection of a particular theme. The brochures depict the ideas and theme of Mirage. MIRAGE 2006 Last year, MIRAGE 2006 celebrated The Knights In Shining Armour with 30 events in a span of six (6) days. Mirage 06 celebrated chivalry in the intellectual, physical and cultural domain and hence the theme centred around ancient knights. It catered to a crowd of around 6000 from 64 colleges who displayed their talents in various dimensions. MIRAGE 06 received an incredible response. The crowd, the music and the stupendous rush created an infectious atmosphere at Mirage 06. Last year, Mirage received a tremendous support from the sponsors. MIRAGE 2007. The B.M.S Section of Nagindas Khandwala College of Management Studies bounces right back amidst the college frenzy bringing "MIRAGE 2007" .Mirage is a framework, colossal event dated from 14th December to 20th of December, 2007. With every passing year, it has set new standards as far as intercollegiate entertainment goes. MIRAGE 07 will give students enormous opportunities, experience and learning to show their vigor and knowledge as students from various colleges competes with one another in games of Arts, Culture, Management and Sports. It is an ultimate platform for the students to rejuvenate their talent through '40' interesting events at the best of venues spreading across seven (7) exciting days. With this year's theme MAFIA, Mirage 07 –The Underground battle will be held at College premises, Goregaon Sports Club and Thakur auditorium. The USP events of Mirage07 are Marathon , Mind Crackers and Crocker. It is special as it was never conducted before and the athlete enthusiasm is something to watch out for on this day. MIRAGE has successfully entered its 8th year and is expecting an audience of about 7000 this year.
