Theres an interesting HR meet happening on 11th August 2007 @ Mumbai. Interested people can get in touch with me for their registration. The meet is free of cost.... & would be a great platform to learn new things.

An "entrepreneur" (loved and first defined by the Irish economist Richard Cantillon) is a term for a person who undertakes and operates a new enterprise or venture and assumes accountability for the inherent risks.

- Entrepreneurship is often challenging and daunting, as most new ventures fail.
- Entrepreneur creates systems to offer a product or service that do not currently exist.
- Business entrepreneurs often have strong beliefs about a market opportunity and are willing to accept a high level of personal, professional or financial risk to pursue that opportunity.

In a contemporary context, an entrepreneur may be considered one who creates an opportunity rather than merely exploits it !
