Keeping up with all the international developments, Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Management Studies and Research (VESIMSR) celebrated its ‘Global’ Chaitanya ’09 on October 24, 2009 in association with Union Bank, Spykar, Management Paradise, Maharashtra Times and Kaffe Kone.

The event inauguration was ornated by the presence of distinguished personalities in management like Mr. T. R. Ramakrishnan, a corporate trainer, Mr. Parshuram of Asian Paints, Prof. Priya Mukharjee , a prominent visiting faculty and a spearhead in ethical movement in the
field management and Prof. V. K. Kamath, a distinguished personality from the IT world.

The day started with the commencement of the Case – Study event, followed by various management – oriented events like Mock Stock, New Product Development, Ad Mad, Business Quiz and Press Conference. To add an entertainment value to the entire event, for the first time in the history of educational institutes, VESIMSR organized a Reality Show. Other entertainment events included Buliding Petronas (Tower Building), short team and management games, box cricket and rink football. And the eventful day finally ended with a prize distribution ceremony.

The event was graciously attended and appreciated by participants from various B-schools including SIMSREE, MET, IBS, SIES and so on. The event overall was a tremendous success!
