ABOUT THE FORT:
Peth, also known as 'Kothaligad' and because of it’s shaped some even call it the ‘Thumbs up’ point. It is more commonly known as Peth-gad because of the base village.

This fort, though small in stature, has a vast historical background. It was more of a 'DEFENCE STATION' than a strong fort. Peth was mainly used to store ammunition.

TYPE OF TREK: Hill Fort

HEIGHT: 3100 ft. above sea level

DIFFICULTY RATING: Easy

BASE VILLAGE: Peth

WATER AVAILABILITY: There are many tanks on the fort, but the one near the cave is reliable.

TRAVEL TIME: Three hours

TIME TAKEN (From Base to Top): Two hours.

HOW TO REACH:
We shall hire a cab or mini-bus depending on the final registrations.

PICK UP POINT:
We all will have to gather at a common place, either at DADAR or BANDRA. Shall be communicated prior to the event date to everyone.

TIMINGS:
Gather at: 6:15 AM
Return: 8:00 PM

PRICE:
For CWP Members: Rs.1000/-
For Non-Members: Rs 1,100/- (Non-Members will get CWP Membership worth Rs.350/- for FREE)
