I am Rajaram from Chennai. I am an aptitude/vedic maths trainer. I am going to share some of the shortcuts in maths with you all. To start with, lets learn to find the square of a number around 50.
For example, to find the square of 54,
a) First find the deviation of the given number from 50.
That is, if the given number is N, then the deviation is given by,
D = N - 50.
In this example, D = 54 - 50 = 4.
b) Second find the square of the deviation, that is D^2,
which becomes the LHS of the required answer.
In this example, D^2 = 4^2 = 16.
c) Third find the sum of the deviation D with the number 25.
That is, A = 25 + D, which becomes the RHS of the required answer.
In this example, A = 25 + 4 = 29.
d) The final answer is A/(D^2) without the oblique sign.
In this example, the required answer is as follows:
A/(D^2) = 29/16 = 2916.
Thus, the answer is so simple. |
