Kerala Public Service Commission conducts an entrance exam KPSC Lecturer in Electronics Engineering/Technology Exam for the selection of eligible candidates for the post of Lectures in various Government Polytechnic Colleges.


Structure of KPSC Lecturer in Electronics Engineering/Technology Exam

The selection of the candidates for the Lectures post in Electronics Engineering/Technology Technical Education is done on the basis of the written test conducted by Kerala PSC. The written test consists of questions of objective type format. The test consists of 100 questions. The time allotted for the completion of the exam will be one hour and fifteen minutes. The total marks awarded for the exam will be 100. The question will be in the language of English. Each question is provided with four alternatives and the candidates have to pick the correct answer from the given alternatives and mark it in the relevant column in the answer sheet. Negative marks are provided for the wrong answers.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates have to satisfy certain eligibility criteria for attending the KPSC Lecturer in Electronics Engineering/Technology Exam. The candidates should be electronics or an electrical engineering graduate with minimum 60% marks. The candidates should be between the age group of 20 and 38 years. Officers of the Technical Education Department, Public Health Engineering Department, and Public Works Department can also apply for the test. They can apply at the age of 50 years. Age relaxation is provided for the reserved categories prescribed as per the government norms.

How to Apply?

The application form for the exam will be published in the official website of PSC www.keralpsc.org. Kerala Public Service Commission provides the facility for the online submission of the application form. The candidates can submit the online application form. The candidates need not paid the application fee.

How to fill the Form?

The instructions for filling the application form will be available in the website. Candidates must give proper care at the time of form filling. Because any mistakes in the form will lead to the cancellation of the form and finally the chance of the candidates to attend the exam. The name and date of birth of the candidates must be same as that in the matriculation certificate. Any later change in the entered data will not be possible. The candidates can prepare the application form as per the format prescribed in the notification. The form should be filled by the candidate using a blue or black pen. The candidates should submit the application form before the last date.
