Hi Manoj,
First step for your preparations is to decide which entrance exams are you willing to give. There are various exams held for Full Time MBA including CAT, XAT, NMAT, MAT, MH-CET, SNAP and various other autonomous institute exams.
CAT is Conducted in November, SNAP and NMAT in December, XAT in Janauary, MHCET In Feburary.
So you have to start preparing for the entrance exams. Join a coaching classes if you want because you have very less time left for CAT.
It's better to let someone think you are an Idiot than to open your mouth and prove it.

Hi Manoj,
One of the most important factor to crack CET is SPEED with good amount of accuracy. You need lots of practice in CET. Whereas for Joining classes it depends upon you, if you are good at Logic, English and quant than there is no need. If not than join some good classes.
If you are not joining any classes i will suggest you to join test series batched which starts in november 1st week.

Hello Sir,
thank a ton for your reply, also request your comment on below points if possible.
Can you give me a rough idea about the costing and the timings of coaching classes for CET and at what time these classes start their lectures.

There are weekdays and weekend batches. In weekdays u can either join morning batch or evening batch. For a new batch you have to check out with the classes.
Costing for full time classes goes up to 10000 rs and for test series its approx 2000 rs.

HI,
You need to try harder this time to get into a reputed MBA college...
Along with the preparation for NMAT...you can consider appearing for SNAP
To get into any of the Symbiosis institutes, you need to appear for the common entrance test called SNAP. The registration for SNAP has already started. Last date for SNAP registration is 24th November and the SNAP test will be held on 20th December ’09 at different locations across India.
Symbiosis offers a huge choice of streams such as Telecom Mgmt, Operations Mgmt, Health Sciences, Mass Comm., Computer Science, IT, Geo-informatics, International Business and HR.
All the best.
This is Snap Guru Ved, the student counselor for SNAP, signing off…
Thanks,
Ved
