Why you should get your Brand on Google Plus!

Its been few weeks since Google has open its gates for its version of
Pages. The reaction towards it has been intense . Many have been
excited and got themselves back but the truth is that after being on
Facebook for majority of the time users expect something more. Google
still retains its Business look and professional background. But here
are few reasons why you should get into Google plus pages if you haven’t
yet started a business page.

The ratio of people is less but still cant be ignored. 40 million
user base Google plus is a fraction of 800 million Facebook user base
but still it cannot be underestimated. Google seems to be driven more by
content of a professional, informational, and industry-specific manner.
Because of this, brands may be able to create a much more direct and
personal relationship with their audiences. Keeping in mind the
capabilities of Google , one should rather play safe and get in the game
rather than underestimate Google plus and start late.

Google has its own set of functions which is unique as compared to
Facebook . Hangouts,” or live audio/video chats are their unique
functions which can be used to its advantage for business purpose.

As Google continues its recent effort to
unify its products and offerings, Google+ is ripe for deeper integration
with services such as Google Places and Maps, Web and Image Search, and
YouTube. Google has already begun this process in several ways. Googles
latest image search is just the start. his could become beneficial to
increasing a brand’s visibility, socially and via organic/image search,
where the brand frequently post images to their Google+ brand page (such
as artists or photographers who sell a product or service), and have an
audience that is likely to share that content.

At the end of the day it all boils down to
your target audience , your level of creativity and the time you have to
spare to initiate a new social media channel. Finding the right balance
of social interaction and commercial promotion is critical in creating
that connection, positively affecting other marketing initiatives such
as SEO, and ultimately generating the next sale.
