Reasons for your weird user name?

Now that we have 9k+ members in MP.... each one of us has a username which might be weird for many.

Esp, since some people have chosen user names like dpka or 6.vinay, etc...

So why not explain here what was the reason that u chose such a user name and have some fun.

Well since i've done the honours of the thread, let me start with mine!

As u know that my username is gaurav200x. Well i started out in 2001, when i had to make my yahoo id (which unfortunately got hacked... :( )

Anyway, my name is Gaurav and 200x indicates the year... like 2001, 2002, 2003, etc..... and hence, shortened as 200x.

So my user name becomes gaurav200x...

p.s. No other (evil) intentions intended!! :bigsmile:

n my all good friends birht day or many other stuffs it comes to 6 so its 6.vinay nothing else so cleared

Hey vinay, i hope u dont take this in the wrong way... We're just having fun here and "weird" is NOT to be taken in the wrong way.... Just take it in the lighter vein.

I just felt it is weird or rather strange and hence i started this thread to know the reason behind the user names. If u still feel about it, let me know (through PM) and i will edit my post.

hey here's my answer...
well my name is "deepika", but usually dis user id is occupied, n rather than typin that looooooong name, i save time by avoiding3 alphabets, quite small amount of time, but it makes sense 2 write DPKA.... coz it sounds d same 'D'(dee) 'P' (pi) 'ka'

ther are not any real or hardcore reasons for real username it might be tat people are so dumb tat they are not able to think of good user name or they find their name to boring
