View Full Version : Students joining the protests-Do we need this?

Colleges all over TamilNadu are closed indefinitely in the recent wake of protest against the Sri Lankan Govt for the Lankan Tamils.I agree that innocent Tamilians living in Sri Lanka are facing the wrath of LTTE.But I strongly feel that students should not be involved in this protests.Exams are postponed indefinitely and colleges are shutdown.Students are requested to vacate their hostels.This will have serious effects on the mindset of students.

Watz ur say on this?

What you have said is right. But students get involved due to the various political actions. The whole issue is taking place so that those involved could remain in news...

Students should better concentrate on their studies rather than joining this.

student from tamil nadu should really set a precedent by lodging a strong protest not only against the government policy of closing all the institutions but also its policy regarding tamils in SRI LANKA.We should appreciate SRI lankan govt for announcing 48 hr freeze so that people(wheteher they are sinhalese or tamils) should come out of the war ravaged zone..We and all india have to understand thatltte is a terror outfit and we should strongly help the lankan govt to remove the obnoxious elements out off indian peninsula..Our stand on terror outfit should be intact

i think should find a better way of protesting and closing down colleges is not a solution to anything

if india has humanity it should interfere.but i dnt think that india considers tamils as human.if u give ur mial id then i will prove with proof that lankan gov. is terrorist
