How to build a great profile?

Other than doing well in graduation and getting a distinction.. what are the programs or certification one needs to do in order to build his/her profile?

Note points
a) After Graduation do MBAs, diplomas and other certification courses from some kind of primer institutions.
b) Reading habit of Economics Times - this will helps to build up profile well ..simple reason ...u 'll get knowledge and through knowledge u 'll act on particulars subjects like finance, business. .....
c) prefer slow pace with consistent reading habit...
d) Do Project Reports on particular subjects .... - this 'll help to build up job profile well.
