Hi can anyone help me by explaining what industry verticals are and giving a few examples both of Indian and international products.A vertical market is a group of similar businesses and customers which engage in trade based on specific and specialized needs. Often, participants in a vertical market are very limited to a subset of a larger industry (a niche market).

Industry verticals :

* Healthcare
* Government
* Education
* Financial
* Food and beverage
* Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
* Real estate
* Manufacturing
* Media
* Oil and Gas
* Banking
* Energy
* Retail
* Technology
* Telecommunications
* Transportation
* Insurance

i also need to do a SWOT analysis and a PESTLE analysis along with the marketing strategies and the product life cycle and the BCG matrix Basically you have to do almost everything.

What you are referring is equivalent to tests a doctor will perform on his patients.

You are the doctor, the SWOT etc are the tests.. what I dont understand is, who is the patient ?
