hey ppl this is a very important issue. it is not the reason for wat us fought the war.actually there is some other secret reason behind the war.

The real reason stated by US for war on Iraq is "WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION" which proved faulty.The only good thing about the war is Saddam's autocracy has been destroyed.But US should have returned back after the war.They are neither bringing democracy in Iraq not they have any plans for leaving.More imporantly after Iraq war oil prices are showing no signs to decrease.

Points to consider :

a.) No mass weapons of destruction found. ( No weapons at all, forget mass destruction )

b.) Saddams autocracy similar to Pak's Parvez. If they started a war on those lines, then why are they supporting pakistan ??

c.) They did not have the concent of the UNO. UNO here is only as good as gandhiji's monkey.

The war was meant to suppress Iraq and conquer all the oil mines. USA is acting like a parasite, trying to utilize every other country as its host to support its survival.
( No offence to US citizens, its the USA govt thats to blame. )

I saw a documentary couple of months back, dont remember the name of the documentary. But it had some interesting points

One of them was that George bush junior himself was involved with several Oil producing companies of Emirates when he was young. He has funded a lot of those companies and has made millions flourishing under his dads power as the prez of USA.

What we see is not real, what is real we dont see.

Would just like to add one more thing. When Sept 11 took place, the US found evidence of Taliban and Al Quaeda involvement. So they promptly went ahead and invaded Afghanistan. But then suddenly out of the blue they started talking abt Iraq. Till that time, no one was concerned abt the situation in Iraq. What was the reason for this sudden realisation?? There was no involvement of Saddam with either Al Quaeda or Taliban. On the other hand majority of the hijackers were of Saudi origin. But can Bush dare invade Saudi Arabia?? No he can't. He went for an easy target and oil and investments seem the only possible reasoning for this.

no ppl there is some other reason, for which US started the war n iknow the exact reason.but i jus wanna know wat u ppl think coz watevr reasons karthik mentioned was right to some extent.but i wanna make this topic little interesting.n above all,the exact reason is something which has to be a secret as it was mapped out by our indian defence.

iraqs war was really for oil it has one of the lagest reserves in the world andf america did it to help itself.well when the oil is trading at all time high american companies extracting oil in iraq are earning huge

Hey Guys Iraq War is not for Oil as per US statement, but the thing is US army should leave as soon as they have hanged Saddam. but I hope they have something in their mind corner to trap something(Oil) from Iraq

Its because population is increasing at a very fast pace and since ppl need food to live the main necessity and not only this but all the sectors affecting the agriculture sector directly or indirectly will be booming in teh mere future of 5 years

we all know since crude oil price are increasing and we dont know that at what levels will it stop or maintain

dear it is a very good thing but this will adversely affect a lot of things

Since we need to incraese the capacity of food grains produced

Increase capacity will require more fertility of land and it will require more fertilizers to be used

We have limited land butnow the production is to be incraesed so for that we require more fertilizers

Now the production requires more fertilizers nd INDIA is the countryt which is using least fertilizers in comparision to CHINA , USA

A fact taht though China has less arable land but then also it is one of teh leading producer of food

This isa fact that Indians were in a cue that India is the llaeding producer of food but China is again beating India

India needs to gear up in evry field since CHINAis giving tuff competition to India

Time to do something and to do really something which will help India to be in top list

Us has found oil wells but they are refusing to supply oil in markets and keeping it for the time when no one will be supplying in teh markets
