Why MBA is a question asked almost always when you apply for a bschool.

The answer completely depends on your educational background and your future career advancement interests.

An engineer would justify it to get management skill set while a BA would justify for say branding / PR / marketing positions.

B.com may justify his need of getting better knowledge of the finance domain etc.

There is not A particular answer, it depends upon YOU.

For me, the answer was simple.. I said I pursued BMS and started Management Paradise and revolutionized how BMS students study the course.. I can only imagine the capabilities of this venture as I do my MBA. Also, the next step forward for MP is to cater to MBA students and I need to know the course to cater to their needs...

I was selected :)

An MBA student has a holistic knowledge equipped with analytical and logical approach and is empowered to think in a structured fashion which provides an edge over other students.
