hello friends.....as we all know that we Indian people are very emotional....sentiments affect us a lot....

consider the film industry or television industry, they deliver soaps which make us weep and they're a hit....

friends believe me or not, same i hv noticed during presentations in these 3 yrs of bms life....

wen groups get this emotional touch....[sad songs n music, videos, roleplays] they make a gr8 impact n r a big hit......

any similar experiences wid you ppl...??Is it just the "emotional" touch which really affects us so much....??

Emotional touch to some extent helps in selling the product...this is with respect to advertisements....for eg:now a days many ads for insurance display that emotional touch....i hope all of u must hv come across those ads...

But with respect to presentation i hardly believe it leaves an impact...cos during role plays and presentations there should be an element of humour,,only then it becomes interesting..

just said wat i felt

i m agree with u all 3............

Emotions is an inner psychological state of a person which is associated with d feelings, behaviours and factors associating with his life..... but I will consider this as a big problem for Indians as sometimes these emotions makes him discouraged and he can't go high n high in this competitive world.........

As Indians r sentimental n emotional human beings, advertisers also know that what Indians like most and wht dislike?!!!

But i m also agree with born2rule in case of skits n role-plays.......... more humour is prefered than emotions in d skits n role-plays in our studies..... coz public n off course teacher will get bored if we start doing emotional skits for our internals.... ha ha.....wht rosh say ???

just in that case, let me clarify, HUMOUR IS ONE OF THE BEST METHODS....AND ALSO EMOTION.a proper blend of both could be just gr8!

wen emotions come out in form of skit/presentation in the right way, they make a gr8 impact...how i wish i could get the videos of presentations in our class which had the emotional touch....
[the prof. praised them so much....he was like >>ur presentation is far beyond expectations...wateva i say as praise is less..i shd show ur presentation to all colleges i teach....<<this could be the impact of presentations!!]

then thats really gr8 rosh..... its very difficult to make emotional roleplay in our skits n role-plays coz d possibility of public getting bored is always high.....

CONGRATULATIONS ......... u tried, experimented n got d best rewards for it.... thats really well..... we did not touch d sentimental topics in my 3 yrs... mostly humour is prefered...........

so i wud say now dat.... combination of humour n emotions is d best formula...!!
