Amarnath land saga so far .........>>>

J&K govt. decides to allot 40 acres of forest land to Amarnath Shrine Board for temporary arrangements for the pilgrims. Then, muslims in the kashmir vally start protestsing against the decision giving some odd reasons. Within 2-3 days, the order is revoked and the land transfer is cancelled to stop the protests. Aftr this, the Hindus in Jammu now start their agitation stating they want the land. The protests continue for over 20-25 days and then the army is called in to control the violence. The army then decides it will use fire, if needed.................

I think the interim solution given by the Govt is acceptable.Giving/Leasing the land for Amarnath board only during season timings and taking it back after the season. It would be better to serve the pilgrims and Govt can still hold the land with them.

But as of now what is needed is peace. It doesn't matter to whom the land belongs, but what the ppl in J & K need is peace and harmony.

land should be given to shrine board,if they wont,it would be undermining of rights of democracy as well as govt...........
also henceforth any millitant group or party supporting or incite riots in jammu
they should treated as terrorist & oust from j& k.
also there must be debate in parliment session regarding the article 370.

I insists that the land be restored to the shrine board. 'Nothing short of it' will be acceptable'
The state government had May 26 transferred a 40-hectare plot of land to the SASB but withdrew the order following protests in the Muslim-dominated Kashmir valley.
July 1 ignited an agitation in the Hindu-majority Jammu region.
The take of separatist is tat they will loose their earning but how can they be affected by transferring 40 acres land to board for developing facilities for piligrims...
