Who is benefitting the most from reality shows-the participant or the celebrity?

I feel the celebrities are marking their presence more than the participants.But the most ubiquitioues comment about the reality show is that "all the participants get a chance to perform before the who's who of the industry and get their feedback". But I don't feel like the participants are really getting benefitted.

even i feel the same as even if d participant wins he gets one big contract with that particular channel n then till one year he cannot be associated with any other channel......where as d one who comes 2nd or 3rd gets more money than him in a same year ........coz he is not tied up with one channel.........n also it is said that all the acts that take place are fake and done just to gain TRPs so i feel its just for the sake of benefits to the celebs thru the common man...........

i think its more of celebrity than participants infact i shud not say participants even the winners are not being recognised..

from my point of view the organisers and celeberty are benifeted than the winners..for example if u see the winer of fame gurukul the winner are not in the fame and no one reconiginig them
