I think that corporates should work more closely with colleges with respect to placements rather than have management quotas. There should be no bias im education. Quotas cause the reason for a bias to be present.

I'm against quotas in education.But they are growing everyday :(
Management quotas is like selling education for money.Its one of the back doors to gain entry into the college.

I am against Quota....

First you give quota in schools... Thats Ok..
Then in Junior College... Thats also OK...

But after they are on par with the other students, why do you want to give them quota..

Now they should be judged pure on merit basis.. not on Caste basis.....

no absolutely there should not be any management quotas in colleges......
its bcoz students who work hard they naturally dont get admissions rather those who pays shines alot...its like this that today education is not so imp than money....

Managements' stand

The managements opposed both suggestions citing the Supreme Court judgment.

They insisted on a separate entrance test for the management quota and, if necessary, more than one test, depending on when education boards of other States publish the results. The DTE said he would convey their position to the Government.

What worries parents and some managements is the stance adopted by many private colleges.

They say the Supreme Court had clearly spelt out how the management quota seats should be filled. As per the Inaamdar Trust case judgment, all admissions to unaided colleges had to be done only on the basis of a CET and single window admission mode.


this was a recent news just imagine if there are management entrance test also then where will the open category students go..........

i am against the quota system, but if any quota should be there it should be handicap quota only.
