can someone plz tell me which subjects to choose between econometrics & if and ssm & ssf for 6th semester?? plz tell me about all four subjects in detail ...i donno much about them.... it will help me to take a final decision..

hi starspace...
well,,1 yr back i was in d same situation of selecting the subject....
abt IF its international finance,,so here the studies r related to balance of payment,international exchanges,,revaluation, deavaluation...
overall the subject deals wid foreign exchange...u will also b required to do sums on this..abt econometrics i hv no idea...

abt ssm…it’s a very easy subject which deals wid marketing,advertising,media relations so if one wants to make a career in marketing u can select this subject…it’s a very easy subject so u can score well if u study and do projects sincerely..
and ssf,, some of my frnds have opted bcos they wanted to specialize in this…now it depends on u as to wat r u interested in…but I wud still say if ur accounts is not tht good dnt opt for ssf,,bcos in this sem u already hv got 2 difficult subjects i.e QT and IF..

frm mah thinking u surely go on SSM
bcoz it is easier n also u have vast option 2 go on for it
n u can get deep 2 if u take a sub topic in ssm

ok.. thanks for telling but in both the subject combinations which is easier to understand and has less syllabus (portion to cover)?? what do ppl generally go for in both the subject combinations??

there r hardly n e classes for econometrics..
join some good classes for IF...cos ther r
a lot of sums around 20-25 marks..
