Are Management Studies Going in right direction???

hey friends.......
i would like to know yours opinion about the style of management studies going in the management colleges....
leaving apart the top management colleges... do you all think that the study pattern and the course curriculum designed by the colleges is appropiate..???
As compared with the other b schools of world.... do we stand anywhere??
what do you all think?
Please post your comments as well as what changes should be there in the course curriculum.... of the b schools....

Apart from the fact that Welingkars Institute of Management Studies and Research is one of the top ranked management institute, the curriculum for PGDM course is quite appropriate and designed keeping in mind the industry expectations.

I'd love to hear other peoples opinion on the same !? MMS / PG ? :)

I feel that there is a lack of corporate angle to the course specially designed for most of the b-schools......and more importantly the presentations that take place is mostly cut,,,copy,,,paste... from internet,,,so there is a very little thought put into the project unless it has a high weightage of marks........there is also a lacking of live projects done during the course........

well friends do u know that there is a action going against of aicte because of providing the allotments and affiliations to the colleges on wholesale basis....
well now the affiliation would not be given on just quantitative approach but on qualitative approach...
would certainly try to tell more regarding this........ but for that i need a fruitful discussion...... thanx a lot
