I could see slowly cricket is becoming more like a business than to be a sport. The recently born T-20 is garnering advertising costs (15L/10 Sec).Already BCCI is a money-spinner.Trying to arrest its monopoly,ICL came into existence.Even BCCI is trying to garner the advertisers with PCL as rival against ICL.All these are trying to invest in cricket which is turning more like a business venture than like a sport.

Well, true dat the money involved in the game is doin' all the talking but dat doesn't mean it has deteriorated the spirit of the game.Yes,the BCCI is raking in billions every year but wat has dat got 2 do with the competence in the game.Infact i think the game has evolved even more ever since the shorter versions i.e.ODI n T20 have been introduced. The fielding requires athletism,so does batting requires nerves 2 score briskly. The game has also grown in popularity and thus, ders a sense of patriotism involved in cricket.Just look at the minset of these pplayers nawadays n u wud know dat its a highly competitive sport.
