its been over 70 days that r exams have been over... till now the results are not out...!! I think university had a rule of releasing the results 45days after the exmaz but they hv proved that they r TRUE INDIANS N DONT CARE ABOUT TIME!!

Its 10th of July today and still there is no declaration from Mumbai University about TYBMS results.

Does anybody have any contact in Mumbai University?
If yes then can they ask them about our results its already more than 70 days of the exam getting over.

I dont know what they are doing.
Are they on earth or living in some different planet.
Some of my friends are saying that it will come day after tomorrow i.e. 12th
But nothing is final
Just see at it as a tentative date and not confirmed one. We are really worried about the results. Can someone suggest some measures to get out of the stress of the results.

RAVI DESHMUKH, who paid Australian $8,689 (Rs 3.3 lakh) for a semester for his international MBA at Australia's Griffith University, will likely miss lectures when classes start from July 23. Worse still, he is worried he will be stuck in India till February.

The reason: The University of Mumbai has not yet announced the results of the third year Bachelor of Management Studies (TYBMS), citing lack of examiners.

The delay is proving to be expensive for students. Anxious about losing out on a semester, students are expressing their frustration online (See Woes on WWW).

About 5,000 students gave the TYBMS examinations that ended on April 28. The Maharashtra Universities Act, 1994, says results should be declared within 45 days from the last day of exam. This means, the TYBMS results should have been declared by June 12.

But despite a delay of a month, the uni versity has not fixed a day for declaring the results.

"There was a shortage of examiners," said Mumbai University's Controller of Examinations Prakash Wani and added the results would be de clared in "a day or two".

The university's non-committal attitude is not helping students like Manish Shah, who has already skipped the June 12-deadline for submitting marksheets at a Canadian university and thinks will miss the July 24-deadline for a college in the UK.

"I think I will just have to join in February," said Shah.

Sweny Rokani, an education counsellor at IDP Education, Australia, said three students had to cancel their admissions to Monash University; because they missed the July 12-deadline. "I have been writing extension letters asking for more time. But they (universities) cannot extend dates anymore," said Rokani.

Wani, however, said the university gives priority to students who wish to study abroad. "We give confidential results to authorities if there is a visa problem or to the concerned colleges or university," he said.

hello ppl!!!i am frm rizvi the best bms institute in bombay..seriously..i ve got a lot of info for u..there is no such thing that the university is short of examiners..first of all..there are 3500 ppl in bms..n i have got info that 1200 ppl have failed..that cums upto 33% failing..this will create a very bad impression on other ppl who wil want to take up bms..so they have decided to cut down the kts..by increasing the grace mks...n makin it frm 6 as before to 8 now..the university even had sent the failures papers for re-moderation as to c if many can get mks..so if u ppl who think who r damn intellegent n jus want their results..dont repel wen u get ur results.. bcoz these results r gonna b a big bummer 4 all bms students..and i m tellin u ..the results are on the 17 or 18 th of july..intl finance was very bad..i have heard the avg mks of failures is 9 or 10...i myself got 14..

for students tryin for international uni's... there was an article in the hindustan times that prachee pointed out to me that if we go to uni we will get our mark sheets if we show our offer letters frm the uni...
it was a big waste of time.. they will only give u a confidential report which they themselves will ship of to the university of ur choice + that will jus state wether u passed or failed and no uni's in australia are accepting that...

my college starts on the 24th.. and once the results comes it takes 4 more days to get the final stamp on the visa... so basicaly my first few days of college r down the drain... and startin in the middle in a diffrent country aint easy...
that why we shud all pay our respect to the mumbai uni... brilliant people (oh by the way their reason for the results ebing delayed for over 75 days is that they dint have people to correct the papers, this is wht the controler of exams told me).... or else we shud file a ase againt them on the basis that according to the 1964, the uni shud declare the results in not more than 45 days
and they uni said another 8 days for the results...
my happines is gone out of the window.. maby sum of u will enjoy this prolonged delay

i got news 4 u ppl!!!results vr mostly goonnna b out today ..that is saturday...but i dont think it hapd today..a source told me that everythg is ready to roll..so cross ur fingers..this cumin week is gonna b it..99% on monday.. sir the great gambler of our lives...he is the vice principal of a colege in bandra..n he is the guy who set i.f paper...he said that 90% of the students who got 13 or 14 in i.f have been passed wid grace mks...hope so..if so.. i ll be passin baby!!if the results r out on monday..it will b a record of 78 days..anyways ppl share sum info wid me..6 mks is as it is grace if u hav kt in 1 subject ..rite??????

i can still make it.. my induction starts on the 24th.... and lectures on the 30th of july... but now when i get my results it will take another 4-5 days to send the results to sydney and then get the final call letter... if i dont get the results by monday or tuesday then i will surely miss my induction n stuff and will have to go on the 30th of july.. and attend the first lecture totaly lost
