In our Constitution, its mentioned Freedom of Speech... But are we really getting that in our city against the Rulers-The Shiv Senas..
People who raised their voice or just gave their comments against them on orkut have gone to the extent of closure of orkut here...
Or any timw any one raises a point, they are on a protest, strikes, closure n alll all...
They are a great party, helping the city to grow but they should let the suggestions and feedbacks to flow out from the citizens and work accordingly and avoid making the city from a DEmocratic to Autocratic..
Please no hard feelings..just a post.. Hope It works...

Everything as said in our constitution is good, but at the practical level it is rarely enforced. If you really want to enforce you must have a good backup in terms of political, money or else just grin and bear it.

freedom of speech comes with the responsibility of saying something which is selfless and good for majority of the concerned and one should also consider the medium of communicating

well i prefer its nt there...we have parents, we have teachers, we have elders, but i dont think that we need social police also....and they too are nt ideologists as they claim to be...i bet u...they dnt do wat they preach....so ya it is a social crime for itself if we stay silent...go on raise ur voice....we hv the damn right..and we shall use it....

The very fact that we are having this discussion, proves that we still have that freedom of speech somewhere..... the constitutions was written 57 years ago in the absence of television and internet.... we still have that right... just the medium has changed.... we cant say something good is good unless we compare it with something bad... just look at the information blanket put by the Chinese government on its people... even Google has to adhere to it... Like the statement from Titanic goes...."The mirrors are still the same, only the reflections have changed!
