i dont think we should be overconfident..... all sorts of sports requires a coach so that they r disciplined n don't know there are hundreds of things that a coach has to take care of.... We can't neglect the importance of a coach just like that

Jumping to conclusions based on one series victory will not be a valid one.

what do you say guys/gals...can Venkatesh prasad keep on beeing the coach and all the batters take care of themselves or shud we have a trio of coaches one for batting also...and the two wicket keeprs can coach themselves :)

i think every sports or say any corporate there is a position assigned to someone to comunicate and be responsible for what he has been assigned to do ... as far as coach for indian cricket is concerned players individually cant concentrate on the ground and off the ground issues ...and one needs coach to come to some unanimous decision on cofronting opinions within the team.

The team does need a coach to bind them together. Otherwise it would end in ego clashes!

With all the prima donnas it would not be possible to contro our
highly talented (??) cricketeers.

A coach will not be able to control our heroes(??).

No point in having one.

The matter to be discussed here is whether team india is playing well with/without a coach.Even if u bring a coach from australia or england the primary thing is the team has to be disciplined. They should treat a coach as how you and i are to our teachers. But instead of that this game is no longer included in the category of sports but politics. Just by winning one such game wouldn't bring any team to the top.The team should show an all round performance. And that should not be just for a single time.See if u lose say just 5/6 matches out of 25 it is all right.

NO, NO TEAM CAN PLAY WITHOUT A COACH WHICH IS THE BACKBONE OF THE TEAM. AS STUDENTS NEED PROFFESORS TO HELP THEM IN EXAMS SIMILARLY A COACH IS VERY VITAL

A patriot should feel bad for the performance given by the team named india i feel very happy if they changed the team name like eagles, dogs, pakisthan etc. dont play by keeping the name of the our country.I feel very dipressed whenever we lost the game.so better put pakisthan name for our cricket team all the best for pakisthan team
