Choose career based on market or on their own choice

There are some people who wants to be on safe side and choose their career based on the market scenario of that particular field. And there is another set of people who choose their career based on their own choice.

I feel the latter choice is the good one as we know what we are doing and a good interest in that particular field will prove good results.

I think one should see and balance both - interest with market (sunrise industry as it is known).

Since any organisation would have job opportunity of individual interest. Balancing both has a coupling effect to make it as RIGHT TIME, RIGHT PLACE

Unfortunately half of the people don't know what they want to do. People who know what they want to do and play safe by following the market and not their own interest end up as the frustrated lot. I would go for own choice as it would give more satisfaction no matter how much money I may earn.
