Bored of Delhi,can we shift the capital?

Letz assume that we are all given an option to change the capital of India.Which is the best place to act as the capital of India. why?

My choice:Lucknow

1.The capital is inland and is secure.
2.It has got historical relevance with the nearby areas like Mathura,Varanasi...etc.
3.It has got emerging industrial areas like Gurgaon andNoida.
4.It also sends more number of people to the constituency

my choice would be mumbai becos it has different cultures and ethnic group. it is called mini india. but i would be happy with delhi only

Deciding a Capital of a country is no kids play. Years before experts have made delhi our capital taking into consideration several parameters which we dont know. There are also so many deep geographical calculations which goes into it. We don't make capital city on our own choice based on our favourites.
Otherwise, Australia would have Sydney or Melbounre as their capital instead of Canberra and same is for every country. Otherwise we would have all countries making their most popular city their capital from time to time!

well the capital is to be shifted then no better place then mumbai. its the financial capital of the country, so it should be next in line for being the capital.

I think delhi got some drawbacks on climate as well.Geographic location of delhi is also not good as its situated more tawards the north.

Moreover the inclination towards the shift of industries towards noida and gurgaon shows a clear sign of the congested infrastructure of delhi.

I wouldnt think it would be such a good idea to change the capital. but if it has to be changed for some reason there couldnt be a better place than mumbai.

MUMBAI coz it is the financial capital of india and of course the bollywood in short......... mumbai simply rocks

i dont think its practiclally feasible..recent history revolses around delhi .monuments and action happens in delhi ..
