Dude.... it doesnt matter who wins in the end. Our indian politics and beaureaucrats are shamelessly corrupt. We want someone who is honest, strong enough to raise voice and oppose and highly qualified person which Dr.leo rebello do possess. But whats the guarantee that after being elected as one he would ot turn into one of those rubber stamp or puupet??????

It is unfortunate that even when 90% people desire a candidate, he does not win and the one with preference of less than 5% gets elected. The same trend is nowadays occurring in every elections.

Why not restrict Top offices to retired beaurocrats or impose a eligibility criteria on MPs that now holds for IAS officers.

Before discussing it, i have a question in my mind. How much power does a president enjoys in India? Isn't his status just namesake and nothing else?
