ALSO THERE ARE PEOPLE WITH GREAT BRAINS BUT NOT SO GOOD WITH WORDS...

Yes Vikram i am agreed with you as this is a common rule of nature that nobody is perfect we can master some skills but not every thing. Some people who are smooth talkers and who talk sensibly but lack intelligence, knowledge etc but on the other hand some people are also there who are very very intelligent but they are weak in expressing their ideas and knowledge in front of other people.
I have seen in my own class there are students who shouts more and some of them talk smoothly but without any knowledge but on the other hand in my class students are there who have lots of knowledge about subject, current affairs etc but they are not fluent and comfortable while expressing that one of them is my friend and i also strongly think that nobody in this world master everything.
well finally we must work on our strength and make use of it in best proper way and must master our strength.

I firmly believe that a person who has got a smart brain is fairly equipped in expressing him/herself....so a smooth talker is normally a smart brain...

smooth talker may not always end up giving proper conclusion but smart brains are either of no use if not communicated properly.so there must be proper combination of both.

i feel smooth talkers vl get first preference cause ppl vl tend 2 to think them as smart n knowledgeable but after initial phase ppl vl want 2 see actual potential of urs if these ppl dont hv potential to succeed then in this cut throat competition they vl not able 2 survive

i feel smooth talkers go a long way in todays world...if they are good learners..
coz smooth talkers will always be given the first chance...even if they are not so intelligent..but if they are quick learners...they will definitely be more successful than the smart brains...

If each human being has tendencies to use only 3% of his brain and rest 97% remains unutilized... and the % of such people is too high.
Good question is How Smartness is measured? Indian Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Singh is a PHD holder. Is he Smart? Mr. Einstein was a failure. He did not even complete his primary education... but was a Noble prize winner. Is he smart?
Can we measure Smartness by educational qualifications or by the % of brain a person uses or IQ level?

smartness is measured by how well acquainted you are with things...some people might know something of everything..and there are people who know everything of a particular thing..and they specialise in that..

smooth talkers are the ones who know little ,,but are acquainted with most things happening around...and are able to communicate those little things effectively to impress others...

well i think ,smooth talkers always have advantage because in first appearance it almost cover up the intelligance ,because intelligance is somewhat intangible,people who try to show intelligance in first meeting always consider to be as fool,

i basically feel smooth talkers are the clear winners in this race.... brains are really important ... but wat is the point if u dnt knw how to convey that idea to other...words play an important role in any idea,project or evn a contract... if ur idea is the best but u dnt knw how to present u mght not b able to win... as simple as that..smooth talkers i feel are more creative then smart brains... as i think ppl who can play with their words can win any battle with ease.....

i had neva experienced hostel life but hearing from all my frnds tht how awesom a hostell life is i always wish to live hostel life...............
but one thng i was always worried abt tht how can nyone stay away frm their family for such a long time and whn i used to ask dem dont u missed ur family thn they jus used to say na man infact u shld come wid us in hostel and u even wont missd nyone itsssssssss juss funnnnnnnnnnnn over derrrrrrrrrrrr..........
