I find the 21st century has people more on the move and, careers, family, and life commitments devour what few remaining hours of each day we have left. Sometimes due to work or choice, distance separates us from family or friends; sometimes it is just time or lack of.

yes thts true...these days...wen your schedules are very hectic it becomes difficult to keep in touch..

but in my case..there is no single incident wherein i got completely disconected to either of my school, colege life frends ever...we mostly try to catchup on holidays...and weekends compulsorily...lol..cordination is thru phone or via chat.

i try to catch up wit friends in person...but if thats not possible i keep touch through my mobile phone...

this is the easiest way of escaping "my job doesn't allow me and i dont have Time bla bla bla....." the truth is we are bussy by choice we are issolated by choice and because of our layback attitude only. I have many examples in my circle where people despite being at very responsible posts and very demanding jobs manage to keep relations/contact with friends&relatives.
I would insist we should introspect ourselves before its too late
