The social networking sites have a become a rage these days with the advertisers..

Service providers advertise their services by creating fan pages,, groups on orkut and facebook..which greatly help them to be in touch with the customers and also help in public relations without incurring any kind of cost..
similarly many of the product companies have also started placing paid ads on these sites...due to the huge reach and regular use of these sites,,the product companies as well get a good market..

orkut was also used by BJP for their election campaign in the recently concluded elections...
