Logo and Tag line for a coching class

What are key points that must be kept in mind while selecting a LOGO for a startup and also regarding a tagline if you are starting with a coaching class for students of 10th std. ??

well for coaching class..i guess the logo should be more like a meditating budha acheiving enlightenment...
for the tag line .. "achieve success with us" should be fine...

am still thinking..hopefully i will be more creative in the next post :)

I dont know what exactly I would create if asked to make a logo for a coaching clases. But a logo which I had seen and still remember was a very captivating one. A picture in which potrayed Igniting Mind. With flame in the background, and the brain area flamed up....the tagline was Igniting Intellect!

LOGO: Something that would signify what the coaching class is capable of achieving. For this matter, I would show an image of SIN (Sir Isaac Newton) resting under a tree and an Apple which is about a feet away from him and about to land on his head :P
TAG: We teach you to think

Logo: I think I will Make a Logo in two parts:First side wherein A student is shown climbing a Mountain And second side that he has reached the top of mountain.. Showing his happiness for his achievement...

Tagline: WE WILL HELP YOU REACH TO THE TOP/ GOAL/ HIGHEST RANK..
