I think marketing with finance is the best option for you.

It would be really simple to give you ideas if you could elaborate on your background and the kind of jobs you would be looking at post MBA.

What are the feasible specialization options available to you and why do you think about pursuing those!

In management, as you climb higher the corporate ladder, you have to be jack of all, master of one or more ;)

So, as a marketing manager you will have your own team working under you and you will need to apply HR management practices like employee motivation, training etc etc... you may also have to predict sales, decide product pricing, analyse return on investment of branding activities. This tests your finance skills.

Every function is integrated to organizations goals and you will be more and more generalist while climbing the ladder.

For now, take specialization thats inline with your immediate needs. If you see yourself handling international businesses in the near future, pursue that.If you find the retail sector booming, go for retail specialization.

At the end of the day, every function is as important and integrated with others.
