IIM A Placements

I just read the News that even till now all IIM A Executive MBA's havent got placed. if the situation in Ahmedabad is so bad, i cant even imagine what other B school guys must be facing

We can't come to conclusion considering only one case like this.I feel most of the placements figs given by Indian B-schools are atleast 30% inflated.So lets get out of this mess and discuss something better.

IIM-A has managed 2 place al of its students within a span on 9 days, starting on Feb 25 n ending on Mar 5
its only that the salaries hav been hit due to financial slump....
avg being Rs. 12.17 Lakhs down about 25% from last year's boom
and also lacking big recruiters like lehman brothers and morgan stanley....
thins r slowly changin now....we vil c better growth and recruiting figures ahead

hey.....wat i feel due to this slowdown....companies are moving towards saving more and thus going for serving pink slips to employees so its relli difficult to think tht companies wud cme for campus placement .....however nw the situation will change nw as market is again doing gud.hoping gud companies wud cme for placements this time

even IIM has to face the heat of recession....what will happen to students to other b schools??
