In a stressful life today going out to an theatre is more relaxing :SugarwareZ-054:than watchin the dvd..when watching a movie in theatre you get the real feel and enjoyment..rather sitting with a dvd which doesn't give you so much pleasure in watching the film:SugarwareZ-023:
thankyou:SugarwareZ-183:

There is a lot of difference by watching a movie in DVD than Theatres... Before a decade ago these DVD's/CD'c were new so people were fond of it... But by the days go by, they came to knew the really enjoyment of a movie is to watch it in theatres... In future it slowly reduces and they buy DVD may be to watch it 2nd time.In this case both Producer and DVD retailer would be happy.

DVD or any other technology cant create the ambience and feel of a theater at home, its a totally different experience and it cant be matched

Going to the movies is another feeling altogether to watch your stars on the big screen with all the special effects and sound..
While if you want to save on cash and watch with family and friends at home ... is another feeling altogether...

well DVD'S can't create an impact of tht as of a theatre. In spite of the surround system and digital technology and bla-bla-bla.
acc to me DVD'S might not reduce the preference of theatre goers.

the main thing which we feel in a theatre is the feeling of reality.......
and the mood becomes fresh.....like said earlier in metroz it is not affected for the theatres but in small town is it affected b'coz a middle class person will think to take a single dvd on low cost rather than to go to a theatre and waste the money.....

In the theatres we get a different experience all together. The seating, the dark, dim lighted environment, cool atmosphere, the sound quality as the most important - the larger than life screen which makes the movie interesting.
But buying a DVD would be economical in terms of many people can view the same movie, although you wouldn't get the same environment as in the cinema hall.

Well even watching DVD with a dark room, stereophonic headphones, a bottle of coke etc I try to recreate the environment which I get in a theater, with the coming of Home theater systems, the magic is replicated right in our homes. I would always love theater instead of DVD's.

i think dvd is far better than theaters because in theaters you can just watch a flim just on time but through dvd any time and any nmber of times you can watch .......
