Well, I don't really know if it's a good idea to open a new thread in the announcement section for myself. But its an announcement of sorts, a re-introduction if I may say so. Mods, please move the thread to the relevant location is this is a mis-fit.
Can't believe I am writing a new post on MP.com after almost a year! Infact, I last visited, as per the stats, on November 17th 2008. That's quite a long time back. I feel a little ashamed to write after so long but, as a matter of fact, I wish to be back.
Thanks to the 15 odd mins chat I had yesterday with my dear friend Kartik Raichura, Founder and the rightful CEO of MP.com. Dost, your one comment yesterday (you know which one) really made me feel quite nostalgic. Remembered those amazing, good old days of college and those days of toil and hard-work when MP.com was launched. Those memories have brought me back here, and I am not going to go back this time.
For all those new mods & regular visitors wondering who I am, just a bit of a background - I am Milind Gandhi, a good friend of owner Kartik. We were college buddies and I was one of the forum mods when Mp.com was launched way back in around, later half of 2005 or early 2006 (Kartik, correct me if I am wrong). I remember, Kartik, me & a few other Mithibai BMS friends (am not too sure if they are still active) worked quite hard in building this platform and marketing the website to colleges. We had visited quite a few colleges and sat for so many meetings with professors, students. I guess I was an active part for about a year or so and then had to withdraw for whatever reasons.
But now I am back to Mp.com and will contribute in anyway I can. I will submit some of the projects I have that are already not uploaded. Plus I will mainly concentrate on the Project/Subject matter help section. I wish to help members with any queries about any subject they have. I will try my best to resolve those. Additionally, I wish to also contribute in the marketing efforts for the website. This is what is in my mind currently, though am not sure to what extent will I be able to do justice to the claims, but will definitely try my best.
Finally, just a bit about me. I am currently working at JPMorgan Wealth Management as an MIS Reporting Specialist. Also am pursuing the Part Time Executive MBA program from JBIMS, Mumbai. A die-hard Bombay boy, I love listening to music, play cricket, and ofcourse my new found passion is writing. Its my dream to publish a book one day. Its a dream, and will definitely work towards living it.

Its a great joy to see a member back, who was associated in a very special way. Its the affection for the fraternity which has brought you back. This clearly reflects that the community's culture is very virtuos.
Well, the site is growing by leaps and bounds under the phenomenal leadership of Kartik.You will be happy to know that the site is really doing great. MP has spearheaded into a host of areas. We are successful in giving a total educational experience to our members.. I insist you to meet new members of the division, and take stock of where we’ve been and where we’re going. This is a big division now! I think it will give you a great sense of what is accomplished—and it’s a lot!
Am sure you are super excited about getting back to MP just as we are excited on having you join us again.
Working for MP has so far been very interesting and enlightening and working with individuals like Kartik and other core members only makes this place all the more enriching and fun.
