Simple rules to follow & HOW to post !!

HIT a reply if your post is similar to a topic already made. This will keep the forums easily accessible.

** Do NOT get involved in online fights/rivalry .. It does not make sense

** DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR EMAIL ID . I know you think that we are jerks because we do not allow email ids but there is a reason behind it.

Ids from website are leeched by softwares and then they fill YOUR inbox with unnecessary Junk Mail. Just to be sure that this site is ANTI - SPAM , we delete email ids if mentioned in " Posts ".

After registering, instead of rushing to make posts, Browse the forum nicely and make intelligent posts. There are plenty of threads and sub-sections on MP to choose from!

Do not make multiple posts in the same thread or same post in different threads to reach the necessary post count. All such attempts will be considered as spam (post meaningless posts) and spammers will be strictly dealt with.

** DO NOT POST THANKS/WELL DONE/CONGRATS type of messages. All such posts will be considered as spam and will be removed by the moderators. **POST IN THE CORRECT SECTION. Please check the different sections carefully to know what-is-what!! Any post found in the wrong section will be treated as spam.

** Please send in your projects as soon as possible (Optional)

Please follow the rules. Not following the rules will lead to infractions (warnings) from the moderators and incessant spamming will lead to banning the person from this site and deletion of all his/her posts.

HOW TO POST :

CHECK OUT THE FAQ PAGES & THE NEWBIE'S PICTORIAL GUIDE FOR MORE INFO ON 'HOW TO POST'.

I AM COVERING UP THE BASICS BELOW ...

The main page has the main Topics.. Each topic can have several subtopics . You have the authority to create a subtopic inside a topic.

To create a new subtopic click on post "New thread".

Fill in the material you want to type in the message box with the subject of the topic and click on "Submit " .

If you click on " Preview " then it will just preview your message but it will NOT be submitted untill you click on "Submit".

If there already is a subtopic and the input you want to post is similar to the subtopic then click on the subtopic and post a reply. This way your material will be submitted in that subtopic.

To Attach a document / Upload Project, you have to scroll a little downward in the page that appears, after you click on " New Thread "

There you can see " Upload Projects/ Notes" . Click on that, click on browse in the new window that appears, select the document from your pc and click on upload. after the project is uploaded. click on close this window and click on submit "

PS : You may have to turn off your pop up blocker .

So to give brief of the whole procedure :

NEW THREAD > Title > Message > UPLOAD Projects/ Notes > Browse > Select file > upload > close window > Submit .

This may seem as complicated but once you get used to it .. it is as simple as sending an email .

General Forum Guidelines:

No aggressive behaviour in the forums.
No trashing of other peoples topics (i.e. SPAM).
No systematic foul language (and none at all on titles).
No abuse towards other members
No offensive user Names (they will be altered or rejected at registration).
Advertising your Website or blog or webpage is allowed only on our terms and by our approval. You will be warned for unauthorized adverts. If you are interested in advertising your site on our board, contact an Administrator.

General Posting Guidelines:

Do a search before posting: use the search function to see if the project,notes or resource have already been posted. Duplicated posts will be closed or merged.
Requests must only be posted in the DESIGNATED REQUEST SECTIONS!

Signature and Avatar Guidelines:

Allowed formats are .gif, .jpg and .png.
Be considerate. Resize your images to size specified: Avatar 80*80. Browsers will rescale them anyway

Trainee Manager 1-30
Active Manager 30-100
Proactive Manager 100-150
Experienced Manager 150-200
General Manager 200-500
On his way to Board of Directors 500 & Above

I suggest MP admins and staff members put a link in their signatures with the words " How to Use MP and Simple Rules at MP" with a link to this thread.

If members too can put do the same, it would be much appreciated.
